Workshop and Audition info
Friday Aug 21st Workshop

Come in Friday and learn the rep you will be performing at auditions. This allows dancers to learn at a slower pace, giving them confidence at the auditions to represent themselves at their best. The workshop will be divided by dancers level; Beginner/Novice, Intermediate, Advanced/Preproffesional, and principal (for those Intermediate and above who are interested in auditioning for a principal role).
Saturday Aug 22nd Auditions

Auditions are divided by level (the same as the workshop). Each group is called for an hour block and needs to be prepared to stay for the entire hour. Please wear dance clothing you can move freely in and that shows your body lines (We are a Body Positive company so wear what makes you feel comfortable and beautiful while not hiding your beautiful lines).
The Principal audition will be an hour and a half long, be prepared to stay the entire time. You will be notified directly after the Principal Audition if you are getting a callback for Sunday.
Just because you do not get a callback does not mean you are cut. You MUST get a callback to be considered for a Principal role. Just because you DO get a callback does NOT mean you are guaranteed a role. You must earn it!
Sunday Aug 23rd Callbacks

Our Creative Director works very hard to make Auditions and Callbacks an amazing experience. Callbacks are a crazy and fun day where you need to bring the best of what you have as a dancer and performer! You will learn several new combinations including tap, contemporary, and some character movement. Come ready to try anything and be crazy and wonderful!
Callbacks will start at 1pm and go till 6pm. Not everyone will be kept the entire day but be prepared to stay for the whole 5 hours. You will be given breaks to eat something and rest/stretch.
